Terms of Use
Draft dated 7 November 2026
Draft for review. These terms are proposed for Direction. The operator’s legal identity and final commercial terms must be confirmed before these terms are adopted. A signed pilot or service agreement takes precedence where it differs.
1. Service and access
Direction provides a shared workspace for team onboarding, projects, tasks, progress updates, feedback, and questions about team knowledge. Access is by invitation. Website walkthroughs use sample content and do not create accounts or modify a workspace.
You must be authorised by your organisation to use its workspace. Keep your sign-in details private, use accurate account information, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Workspace administrators control membership and permissions.
2. Acceptable use
Use Direction lawfully and only for work you are authorised to perform. Do not upload unlawful material, malware, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, access another organisation’s information, disrupt the service, or abuse its AI features.
Your organisation is responsible for deciding what employee and business information it enters, providing required notices, and obtaining any necessary permissions. Do not upload passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information unless its handling has been agreed in writing.
3. Your content
You and your organisation retain your rights in content you provide. You permit Direction to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service and provide support. Workspace content is available to members according to the service’s access controls; it should not be treated as a private message to one person.
Direction retains its rights in the service, software, design, and branding. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Direction.
4. Company Brain
Company Brain uses external AI services to process questions and approved knowledge. It can make mistakes or omit context. Check the linked sources before relying on an answer. An approved entry means it was reviewed within the workspace; it is not a guarantee of accuracy.
AI usage limits apply and will be confirmed for your plan. AI output should not be the sole basis for employment, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions.
5. Pricing and payment
The advertised Standard price is US$8 per person per month. Custom and Enterprise pricing is agreed separately. Before any paid subscription begins, an order or service agreement will confirm billable seats, billing dates, applicable taxes, usage limits, cancellation, renewal, and refund terms. Visiting the website or contacting us does not start a paid subscription.
6. Availability and changes
Direction may change as it develops. Availability, support commitments, and any service levels must be agreed in writing. Keep copies of important work; the service is not a substitute for your organisation’s backup obligations. We will communicate material changes to adopted terms before they take effect.
7. Suspension and ending access
Access may be restricted to address security risks, unlawful activity, or a breach of agreed terms. Your administrator may also remove your access. Contact us to discuss ending a workspace and arranging an available export or deletion. Ending one person’s access does not automatically delete shared project records.
8. Responsibility and disputes
Each party remains responsible for its own actions and obligations under applicable law. Liability limits, governing law, and dispute arrangements will be confirmed in the final service agreement. Nothing in these draft terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Contact
